Job Description and Duties

  • Manage the implementation of various advertising campaign elements that include, but are not limited to, out of home, online, print advertising items and the review and approval process of campaign scripts and advertising copy. The analyst works closely with members of the Consumer Marketing & Advertising Unit to review and verify media vendor lists and location lists to make certain the proposed campaign meets Lottery standards.
  • Assigned as a contract liaison support with one or more advertising agency contracts. Monitor and review estimates and invoices. Participate in Weekly Status conference calls with agencies.
  • Develop and maintain the Draw Game ticket advertising messages calendar and monitor performance. Create field communications as well as internal presentations and status reports to support various advertising campaigns and projects.
  • Under the direction of the Chief, Consumer Marketing & Advertising, develop and maintain the Marketing Annual Marketing Plan Calendar as needed for various internal and external audiences. Produce the Weekly Marketing Update.
  • Obtain and analyze sales data using the Lottery’s Business Intelligence and Business Analytics system (BIBA) and media figures as provided by media vendors; create charts and graphs to demonstrate business impact. Analyst campaign results and prepare campaign/project close out reports.
  • Assist in the development and execution of Lottery presence at sponsorships, fairs and festival events. Provide support to the promotions team, including setting up and tearing down event equipment, reviewing and maintaining even signage, and tracking promotional ticket request forms and event memos.
