Job Description and Duties

The California State Lottery Human Resources Division has a terrific career opportunity for the ideal candidate with Exams, Recruitment, and Classification and Pay experience. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Consults with Lottery management regarding classification issues, provides advice and assistance on allocations, identifies alternatives, and makes recommendations
  • Reviews and analyze requests to establish and/or reclassify positions
  • Approves training and development plans, special hiring rates, and out-of-class requests
  • Reviews existing and proposed organizational structures and duty statements and recommend appropriate revisions
  • Develops proposals for the establishment of new classifications and specification revisions
  • Assist in recruitment efforts and prepares job announcements
