Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the North Region Environmental Office Chief,  the incumbent will serve as Branch Chief for the Environmental Stewardship Branch.  The incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing and directing staff with regard to local and regional agencies, Federal and State agencies, elected officials, project stakeholders and the general public on matter pertaining to project development and compliance with environmental laws, regulations and policies.  In this capacity, the incumbent coordinates North Region Mitigation projects.  The incumbent facilitates partnerships with Federal and State resource agencies and local government officials in the development of mitigation opportunities, and assists with contract management and oversight of consultant prepared studies and reports.  A valid California Drivers License is required.

Limited-term position - may become permanent
