Special Requirements

Possession of a bachelor's or advanced degree with a major in a biological, chemical, physical, or environmental science, soil science, water science, hydrology, agronomy, natural resource scienc, envrionmental or public health, physical geography, or a closely related scientific discipline.

Statement of Qualifications

  1. Describe your management, policy or scientific experience leading work on marine protected areas and/or restoration to mitigate impacts to marine ecosystems.
  2. Describe your project management experience, including grant management and stakeholder outreach and coordination.  
  3. Describe your experience translating complex scientific data for use by local, state, or federal governments and/or communicating with a range of audiences including high-level decision-makers and members of the public.  
  4. Describe your experience and ability to lead groups of people with divergent views on an issue towards consensus on a particular position or process.
