Job Description and Duties

The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy (Conservancy) is seeking an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) to work in a team environment to develop and administer contracts and administer grants.  In addition to contracts and grants, the AGPA will develop and remediate accessible digital content, assist with departmental communications, will be the backup to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Board Liaison, and work on special projects that support the Conservancy in carrying out its mission.  The SSJDC is a small, committed, collegial team that works across departments and disciplines to protect, enhance, and restore the Delta’s economy, agriculture and working landscapes, and environment.

 

This position you provide experience in a variety of areas, allowing the incumbent to develop expertise that is widely sought by state employers. The Conservancy is seeking a motivated individual who takes initiative, communicates well verbally and in writing, and is organized and results-oriented.

 

The AGPA will be responsible to:

  1. Work closely with management and program staff to research, analyze, develop, and administer contracts.

  2. Manage and administer grant agreements.

  3. Develop and implement accessible digital content.

  4. Assist with communications

  5. Provide backup to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

  6. Provide back up to the Board Liaison.

  7. Work on special analytical projects.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
