Job Description and Duties

Under general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the BSO I will independently perform a variety of functions related to asset management,

equipment repairs, vehicle pool coordination, other complex technical and analytical business services tasks in support of CJIS Division. The incumbent will assume responsibility for entries in the Department’s Asset Management System (AMS) for all assigned and unassigned equipment and assist in equipment inventory and audits as necessary.

The BSO I is expected to keep current in the knowledge of asset management procedures, form preparation, rules and regulations, the procurement process relative to Cal-Card usage, documentation and file maintenance, and provide training to office personnel on relevant policy and procedures related to asset management.

This position requires travel between two Sacramento county locations. The incumbent must possess a valid driver's license.

This position is located in the California Justice Information Services Division, CJIS Executive Office, CJIS Operations Support Program, Facilities Management & Safety Section.
