Job Description and Duties

Do you have a passion for helping people and enjoy working with a diverse population? We are seeking a flexible individual that is self-driven, creative, and customer focused to assist customers and work cooperatively with local partners in the America's Job Center of California. You would promote the Employment Development Department (EDD) and Workforce Services (WS) programs and/or services through the delivery method of self-service, facilitated self-help and staff assisted services by providing employment services to job seekers and employers.

This is a bilingual Mandarin position.

Background Investigations Requirement

The position(s) may require an applicant to pass a background investigation.

The investigation will consist of completion of a personal history statement and fingerprinting checks with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice, and/or local law enforcement agencies.

Statement of Qualifications Requirement

To be considered for the position, applicants must submit an SOQ along with their application. The SOQ is a narrative discussion of how your education, training, experience, and skills qualifies you for the position. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. SOQs must have both first and last name and be two (2) pages in length.
