Job Description and Duties

The Staff Services Manager (SSM) I is the section manager overseeing operations for the Imaging and Record Services Section (IRSS). The SSM I is responsible for the day to day management and maintenance of the Department’s manual criminal and applicant history folder files, encompassing over five million records.  In addition, the section is responsible for the digital imaging of the manual files using a high speed scanning work flow solution for electronic storage in the Department’s Automated Archive System (AAS).  The section also processes manual fingerprint card submissions and converts them to live scan transactions and mails out manual applicant responses. 

This 12-24 month Limited Term position is a unique opportunity to shadow the current incumbent, and the position may become permanent.

This position is located in the California Justice Information Services Division, Bureau of Criminal Information & Analysis, Records & Biometric Identification Branch, Imaging & Live Scan Program, Imaging & Record Services Section, Records.

Personal Leave Program:
