Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Supervising Property Appraiser, Legal Entity Ownership Program (LEOP) Section, the Senior Specialist Property Appraiser independently or acting in a lead capacity analyzes and processes statements, records, and other documents for change in control and ownership of legal entities as it pertains to the property reappraisal. The incumbent focuses on issues involving more complex real property matters in the area of change in ownership. Travel may be required throughout the state up to 20 percent of the time by automobile and airplane.

At this time, per the California Budget Act of 2020, all Board of Equalization salaries are subject to the provisions of the State of California’s Personal Leave/Furlough Program.

Working Conditions

  • Standard office environment.
