Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Office Technician (Typing) [OT (T)] is assigned a broad range of advanced journey level administrative support activities.

Working Conditions

No specific physical requirements are present: the incumbent works in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control.  Daily access to and use of a personal computer and telephone is essential.  Sitting and standing requirements are consistent with office work.

The Bureau of Automotive Repair’s mission is to protect and serve California consumers by ensuring a fair and competitive automotive repair marketplace and administering a model motor vehicle emissions reduction program.
