Job Description and Duties

CCHCS seeks to fill a permanent full time Health Program Specialist II position in the Quality Management Section, New Report Development Unit. 

The Health Program Specialist II will perform high-level special studies and projects pertaining to the establishment of a statewide performance evaluation and improvement program.  This position will monitor performance measures used in the California prison health care system, and will be instrumental in developing the statewide processes for reporting and analyzing these measures.

Department Information

This position is located in the Quality Management Section.  With the understanding that patient safety is the fundamental responsibility of every individual within the correctional health care delivery system, the Quality Management Section strives to support continuous evaluation and positive change in order to improve patient outcomes, cost effectiveness and efficiencies, and support the delivery of safe patient care.
