Job Description and Duties

This is an entry-level non testing classification where the Mechanical & Technical Occupational Trainee (MTOT) will perform the duties through on-the-job training. 

Incumbents must demonstrate the ability to learn and perform un-skilled and semi-skilled work, read basic English at a level necessary for successful participation in on-the-job training and work assignments.

3. Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
