  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including one or more of the following: presentations before stakeholders, elected and appointed decision makers in the public and private sectors, and to potential and existing stakeholders; and research and written correspondence supporting recommendations to the Executive Management and Board.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and apply that skill to solution-oriented management of problems as they arise in the normal course of business.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, small, service-oriented, state agency prioritizing accountability, transparency, and customer service.
  • Preference for experience participating in coalitions and engaging regional stakeholders in the State of California.
  • Preference for experience serving as part of a new program team or a new aspect of a program, or experience contributing to growing participation in an existing program.
  • This is a traveling position. A valid CA driver license in good standing must be held by all applicants who apply.
